Meet Donna
Client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-focused.
I am a dedicated MSW, RSW Psychotherapist based in Ontario, Canada. I specialize in bridging mental health access through innovative technology, offering virtual individual therapeutic counseling, EMDR therapy, and wellness coaching services.
My primary mission as a Registered Social Work (RSW) professional is to enhance human well-being and clients’ capacity to address their needs. I have a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with an embedded trauma diploma and EMDRIA-approved training as an EMDR therapy provider.
My approach to treatment often incorporates trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, emotional regulation; and for my female-identifying clients, I use feminist theory to help build self-compassion, self-confidence, and resilience.
Problem-solving focuses on each client’s strengths, incorporates evidence-based treatments, and aims to help them gain the skills, coping tools, and knowledge needed to advocate for their needs and improve their daily lives.
I actively and continuously acknowledge that each client’s life experience is unique. I never view myself as an expert in other people’s lives. Instead, I value the opportunity to learn further from my clients’ lived experiences and problem definitions and help them build a more positive, balanced, and upward life trajectory.

Donna’s mission is YOU.
“As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.” – Nelson Mandela
At her darkest hour, Donna was unsure whether her light would ever shine again. Through self-compassion, therapeutic support, and hard work, she rediscovered herself and her light emerged brighter than ever.
Since then, her greatest mission in life has been to help others learn to shine their light too.
